Help a Neighbor in Need
The pantry is so appreciative of this community’s individual and corporate support with donations of food and with financial gifts. We work hard to make every effort that every dollar donated is used to make sure “No One Should Go Hungry!” For 5 years in a row we have spent over 99% of every dollar donated on food. The other 1 percent or less of every dollar is for operations of the building, a small payroll and supplies.
We strive to offer a diversity of food that helps balance nutrition intake and diet, especially important to children, seniors, and those with health challenges. Cash gifts allow the Crystal Lake Food Pantry to purchase items that we don’t receive as donations including meat, milk and dairy products.
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
